Mysql Odbc Driver Windows 10

Jan 09, 2019  By default, Windows 10 does not shipped with Oracle ODBC connection utility. In other word, I was unable to connect to my Oracle database from MS Access. Installing Oracle ODBC Driver on Windows 10 is a bit tricky. It’s not as simple as installing PostgreSQL ODBC driver or MySQL ODBC Driver. I was struggling to get it works. ODBC 5.3.10-winx64 driver install error on Windows Server 2016

I can't install the MySQL connector 5.3.10 (64 or 32 bit) versions on my 2016 Windows Server.
Checking with the Windows Program Compatibility Troubleshooter I get told it is an incompatible program.
I also tried the win32 version (OS is 64 bit) and 5.2.7 64bit version all gives the same result.
Error message:
Error 1918. Error installing ODBC driver MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver. ODBC error 13. The setup routines for the MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANS Driver ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126. The specified module could not be found..myodbc5s.d..
The Windows Server is fully patched and largely untouched apart from having installed python 3 on it.
Is there a fix for this or do I need another OS?

There is a Linux MySQL DB we have connect to. This works fine on Windows 7 computers. Now there is Window 10 an no connection anymore. (Windows XP worked so too)

Server version: 5.1.73-1 (Debian)

I used the same parameters as on the Windows 7 machines. (ODBC driver 5.1, 32Bit - 'mysql-connector-odbc-noinstall-5.1.13-win32') Igi 1 free download for windows 10.

• The same driver (I tried version 5.3 32Bit too)
• The same user and password
• the machines are in the same network

The error is 'Malformed package'.

Connecting a Windows DB works.

(The machine may not have an Internet connection.)

Error Messages:

It's a driver problem: 5.1.13 does not work, 5.1.12 is needed! Then it works.
